| Customer Reviews: Top quality February 1, 2010 Ron Weeks (Bardstown, KY) I always like to use the Kreg screws and so when I find them on sale I buy them, this was a good sale...always need more pocket hole screws!!
Excellent quality at reasonable price December 11, 2009 Ashok Puri 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I find these screws are of top quality and perform exceptionally well for pocket hole joinery. When purchased from Amazon in large packs, the price is only marginally higher than ordinary screws. I would not consider using non-Kreg screws for any of my projects.
Gotta Have Them November 25, 2009 Woodworker (Oak Harbor, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you are a woodworker you need to get into pocket jointery. Great product. Makes almost any joint extremely secure and very easy.
May be the wrong choice November 9, 2009 Baxter (Salt Lake City, Utah USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The quality of the Kreg screws is very good, but, the SLM-C1 Washer-Head screws may not be the best choice for pocket hole joints. For wood that is ½" thick the pockets are so shallow that the larger washer-head (vs pan-head) screws will actually protrude above the surface of the wood! You can use them on projects where you are joining a thicker than ½" piece to another ½" thick piece, and probably gain a little strength over the smaller head pan-head screw, but, I would recommend just getting the pan-head screws and save yourself the hassle!
You won't get s______ with this purchase! ;o) May 10, 2009 Jack P. Nunes (Herald, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the only way to buy these excellent but pricey screws. They are not only super for pocket holes but for other assembly when you need that washer to draw material together. Great buy, great product.
